patron of the Elephant Family charity

David recently became a patron of the Elephant Family charity, alongside Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, Goldie Hawn and Sarah, Duchess of York.

Elephant Family is the biggest funder, in the world today, for the endangered Asian elephant.

In the past 100 years their numbers have plummeted by 90% due to massive habitat loss. Along with the tiger and orang-utan, the future for the Asian elephant is under real threat which is why they can be found on the IUCN red list.
