Ian provides bespoke financial advice to clients in London and more widely throughout the South East of England.
Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Ian spent 9 years working as an academic conservation scientist, helping to improve the management and performance of national parks around the world. An author of many scientific papers, he prides himself on having rigorous high standards and attention to detail. As a consequence, he enjoys especially strong advisory relationships with technically-oriented individuals from all walks of life.
He gained a PhD in Conservation Biology from the University of Cambridge in 2010, following a MSc from Imperial College London in 2006. He brings his academic teaching experience to his client meetings and seminars and strives to make complex financial subjects clear and understandable.
Outside of his practice, he is a competitive glider pilot and when the weather’s not good enough to fly, he’ll often be found enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.
Fundamentally, he views financial advice as a problem-solving challenge for his clients – a challenge to which he enjoys applying his highly trained analysis skills. As a result, his clients can expect to receive the most comprehensive and appropriate advice at all times.
